Artist Statement

Born in Budapest, Hungary. Graduated from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Illustration.

I paint to search for a harmony between the natural surface of the wood and the transparent quality of watercolors. The effect of the colors absorbed by the wood inspires me to explore many different subjects. My ambition is to express the vivid impressions I find in nature's small fragments and help to evoke a color, texture or a memory in its absence.

I have exhibited my work in art festivals around Los Angeles.
